History

About 200 years ago a few families belonging to Bazzad gotra Jats came from Aadampur Dadi and settled at Sui

Population of Sui according to Census 2011 is 5063, in which the number of males is 2677 and females 2386.

Notable person

• Nihal Singh Bazad (Sub) (Vir Chakra) became Martyr on 20-10-1962 during 1962 India-China war. He was posthumously awarded with the Vir Chakra for his outstanding act of gallantry. He was from Sui village in Bawani Khera tehsil of district Bhiwani of Haryana.
