Sabarwal (सबरवाल) or Sabharwal (सभरवाल) gotra Jats live in Sikar,Jodhpur districts in Rajasthan. Shabar/Shobar/Sabra/Sabar clan is found in Afghanistan.^[1]

Origin

Sumit Sabharwal - Captain Sumit Sabharwal was the pilot who was flying the Air India plane which crashed near Ahmedabad Airport, seconds after it took off. Even though Captain Sabharwal did not survive, a news about him is making everyone wondering about the Almighty's ultimate plans! The news is that, Sumit was planning to quit his job in order to take care of his 88 year old ageing father. Media reports state that, Sumit had spoken to his father before flying to London. He reportedly told his father, “I’ll call you once I reach London". As for Sumit’s mother, she had passed away two years ago and that his father has been residing alone in Powai, Mumbai.
