Ranasar or Ranasar Togdan (चक राणासर) is a village in Nawalgarh tehsil in Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan.

• As per Census-2011 statistics, Ranasar village has the total population of 466 only (Males: 236, Females: 230).

Notable Persons

• Ramdev Singh Gill was married to Smt. Foolidevi, daughter of Shri Ladu Ram of village Ranasar.
• सांवल राम राणासर - 15 जून 1946 को झुंझुनू में किसान कार्यकर्ताओं की एक बैठक चौधरी घासी राम ने बुलाई. शेखावाटी के प्रमुख कार्यकर्ताओं ने इसमें भाग लिया. अध्यक्षता विद्याधर कुलहरी ने की. इसमें यह उभर कर आया कि भविष्य में समाजवादी विचारधारा को अपनाया जाये. जिन व्यक्तियों ने किसान सभा का अनुमोदन किया उनमें आप भी सम्मिलित थे. • श्री मोहनलाल वर्मा (देग) की धर्मपत्नी श्री जकोरीदेवी झाझरिया गोत्र से थी। आपके पिता चौधरी चंद्राराम वल्द केशुराम हैं जोकि राणासर के रहने वाले थे।

• Sanwal Ram Jhajharia fought bravely with Pak army on 18.04.1948 in Uri area of Baramulla district in Jammu and Kashmir during Indo-Pak war 1947-48. He was awarded Vira Chakra for his act of bravery. He was from Ranasar village in Nawalgarh tehsil in Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan. :Unit - 6 Rajputana Rifles
