Nishit Kataria is a Jat from Gurgaon Village Haryana. He is currently President of Haryana Youth Congress, he also contested Municipal Elections tion from Gurgaon. His father Sukhbir Kataria was Minister in 2009 to 2014 and was MLA from Gurgaon Vidhan Sabha. His wife's father Subhash Barala was MLA from Fatehabad, Haryana BJP President and Rajya Sabha MP from Haryana.
