Mahovar (महोवर) - They are said to be originated from place called Mahova (महोवा) or Mahoba (महोबा). ^[4] ^[5]

Mahowar (महोवर) (Jat clan) → Mahuar (महुवर) is a river, also locally known as Samoha River, is a tributary of Sindh River. It passes through Karera Wildlife Sanctuary located in Shivpuri district of Madhya Pradesh. Its ancient name was Madhumat River.
Mahowar (महोवर) (Jat clan) → Mahua (महुआ) is a village in Khaniyadhana tahsil of Shivpuri district in Madhya Pradesh. It is site of Shiva Mandapika Temple, an early example of Shaiva Siddhanta in Central India is located in the historical city of Mahua, formerly known as Madhumati. This 7th century temple known locally as Small Siva Temple is the oldest surviving temple of this village.
