Ladhar (लधर) Ludher (लुधर) and Lidhar (लिधर) is a gotra of Jats. Ladhar, Ludhar and Lidhar Jats live in Punjab India and Punjab Pakistan. The variant Ladhar is more commonly used.

History

Ladhar, Ludher and Lidhar Jats live in Sialkot Pakistan. In India they live in Punjab: Jalandhar, Khanna Ludhiana, Amritsar Patiala. They are old original Jats live in Ladhar Kalan village in Punjab.

Ladhar, Ludhar or Lidhar is a Jat tribe of Sindh. They are called Ladhar or Ludhar, Lidhar in the areas of Sindh, In Punjab they are Called Ladhar.

The Ladhar Jat tribe is mentioned in A glossary of the Tribes and Castes of the Punjab and North-West Frontier Province By H.A. Rose Vol II and Aryan Doctor Lal Bakhsh Nayak Malhi Jatt from Mirpur Mathela. According to the 'Kursi Nama', this is original Jat Clan and this tribe is settled in Pakistan. And Ladhar or Ludhar tribe which is Sangli tribe of Suraj Bansi origin and an old tribe of Jats.

Ladhar or Ludhar means beautiful, friendly, a personal name. Ludhar is also a friend of River animals, Ladhar or Ludhar was son of Indra, Grandson of Indri, Great-grandson of Raj Sangli. And this tribe once ruled over Punjab.

Ladhar is settled in Narowal , Pandori and Ladhar Village Gojra in Pakistan Punjab. These peoples are living in India and Pakistan. These people are wear Turbans and live in large numbers in the unpaved area of Gotki and Kashmore Sindh Pakistan Districts and Jodhpur major city Rajasthan India. They live in Large numbers in Ladhar Bela, a very big forest and a big River. On one side they meat Sidhu forest. The areas with their population include: Bahawalpur, Sargodha, Kutch Pakka, Thali and Thal Cholistan from Yazman to Kotla Pakistan. They live in large numbers from Rajanpur to Kot Mithan. These peoples are settled on both side of the Indus River. These peoples are mix in Sikhs, Hindu and Muslims.

The historical Bhong Masjid, Which was built here in the area of Rahim Yar Khan by Gazi Khan, a descendant of Ladhar’s father Indra, was found here. This is a Mosque worth seeing. Jam Kalu was a very religious Great Deredar man (Rich Man). This tribe in India and Punjab has names of villages like Ladhar Khurad, Ladhar Kalan. This tribe was very famous in old times. This tribe can be found in many countries of the world like Uk, Canada, USA and many other countries.

Some Peoples write this name as last name Ladhar because they have their village like Ladhar Kalan, Ladhar, Khurad. Some Scheduled caste peoples also write Ladhar because they are Living in this Village. They not of Jat category, they are Mahbi Sikhs like S.R Ladhar IAS retired, he writes last name Ladhar. (Buddha Mandu) Hazrat Nooh Aala-Islam Narula had seven sons. His first wife was Sadha and the sons were Shem, Haam and Yafith. And the second wife, Wala , who was his wife, born sons from her womb, named Cannan, Yarn, Har Harand Ajam. These five mother and sons who were disrespectful, did not sit in their boat with Hazrat Nooh ala-Islam and obeyed his order and their boat was droned all the all five die. and upon and again they return and took Hazrat and led the lineage of the first three sons.

ਲੱਧਰ ਲੋਕ ਪੰਜਾਬ (ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ) ਦੇ ਨਾਰੋਵਾਲ, ਪੰਡੋਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਲੱਧਰ ਪਿੰਡ (ਗੋਜਰਾ) ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਸਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਕਬੀਲੇ ਦੇ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਭਾਰਤ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਪਰੰਪਰਾਗਤ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਪੱਗਾਂ ਪਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੰਧ ਦੇ ਘੋਟਕੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਸ਼ਮੋਰ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਕੱਚੇ ਪੱਕੇ ਇਲਾਕਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਡੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਸਦੇ ਹਨ। ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਰਾਜਸਥਾਨ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਜੋਧਪੁਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਏ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਇਹ ਲੋਕ ਲੱਧਰ ਬੇਲਾ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਵੀ ਵੱਸਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜੋ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡਾ ਜੰਗਲ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਡਾ ਦਰਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇੱਕ ਪਾਸੇ ਇਹ ਸਿਧੂ ਜੰਗਲ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉੱਥੋਂ ਇਹ ਕਬੀਲੇ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਬਹਾਵਲਪੁਰ, ਸਰਗੋਧਾ, ਕੁੱਛ ਪੱਕਾ, ਥਲ ਅਤੇ ਚੋਲਿਸਤਾਨ (ਯਜ਼ਮਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਕੋਟਲਾ ਤੱਕ) ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਸਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਇਹ ਰਾਜਨਪੁਰ ਤੋਂ ਕੋਟ ਮਿੱਠਾ ਤੱਕ ਵੀ ਵੱਸੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਲੋਕ ਸਿੰਧ ਦਰਿਆ ਦੇ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਕਿਨਾਰਿਆਂ ‘ਤੇ ਵੱਸਦੇ ਹਨ। ਲੱਧਰ ਕਬੀਲੇ ਦੇ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ, ਹਿੰਦੂਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਸਲਮਾਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਿਲਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਰਹੀਮ ਯਾਰ ਖਾਨ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਥਿਤ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਭੋਂਗ ਮਸਜਿਦ ਲੱਧਰ ਦੇ ਪੂਰਵਜ ਇੰਦਰ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਗਾਜ਼ੀ ਖਾਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਬਣਵਾਈ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਮਸਜਿਦ ਵੇਖਣ ਯੋਗ ਹੈ।ਜਾਮ ਕਾਲੂ ਇੱਕ ਬਹੁਤ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਣਯੋਗ ਡੇਰੇਦਾਰ (ਧਨਾਢ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ) ਸੀ।

ਹੁਣ ਅਸੀਂ ਵੇਖਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਹੋਰ ਕਿਹੜੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਦਸਤਾਵੇਜ਼ਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੱਧਰ (ਲੁਧਰ) ਜੱਟ ਕਬੀਲੇ ਦਾ ਜ਼ਿਕਰ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ। ਮੈਕਲੈਗਨ ਅਤੇ ਰੋਜ਼ (Sir Edward Maclagan. and H.A Rose) (ਸੰਪਾਦਕ) ਦੀ ਕਿਤਾਬ “Glossary of the Tribes and Castes” ਵਿੱਚ ਲੱਧਰ ਕਬੀਲੇ ਦਾ ਜ਼ਿਕਰ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਰਸਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਿਆਲਕੋਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੱਟਾਂ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਕਬੀਲਾ ਸੀ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਪੁਰਾਤਨ ਰਾਜਪੂਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਸੀ। ਕੀ ਇਹ ਅਜੀਬ ਅਤੇ ਹੈਰਾਨੀਜਨਕ ਗੱਲ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਸੋਆਣੀ ਗੱਲ ਨਹੀਂ? ਆਮ ਵਿਆਖਿਆ ਇਹ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਰਾਜਪੂਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਜੱਟ। ਕਹਿਲਾਏ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਕੁਝ ਲਿੰਕ ਸਬੂਤ ਵਜੋਂ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ।

ਹਜ਼ਰਤ ਆਦਮ (ਅਲੈਹਿ ਸਲਾਮ), ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਿੰਦੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਸ਼ੰਕਰ ਜਾਂ ਮਹਾਦੇਵ ਵੀਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, 18 ਤੋਂ 20 ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੋਏ। ਹਜ਼ਰਤ ਆਦਮ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਜਾ ਮਨੁਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਦੀ ਕਬਰ 270 ਗਜ਼ ਲੰਬੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਮਾਂਡਾ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ, ਕਾਠੀਆਵਾਡ(ਗੁਜਰਾਤ) ਵਿੱਚ ਸਥਿਤ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਹਾਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਦਾ ਮਨੁ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾਸੀ।

ਹਜ਼ਰਤ ਨੂਹ (ਅਲੈਹਿ ਸਲਾਮ) ਦੇ ਸੱਤ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸਨ। ਪਹਿਲੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਸਾਧਾ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ੇਮ, ਹਾਮਅਤੇ ਯਾਫਿਥ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਏ। ਦੂਜੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਵਾਲਾ ਤੋਂ ਕਨਾਨ, ਯਾਰਨ, ਹਰ ਹਰੰਦ ਅਤੇ ਅਜਮਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਏ। ਇਹ ਪੰਜ (ਮਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ) ਨੂਹ ਅਲੈਹਿ ਸਲਾਮ ਦੀ ਆਗਿਆ ਨਾ ਮੰਨ ਕੇਕਿਸ਼ਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾ ਚੜ੍ਹੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੂਫ਼ਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਡੁੱਬ ਗਏ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਵੰਸ਼ਾਵਲੀ ਪਹਿਲੇਤਿੰਨ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧੀ।

ਸ਼ੇਮ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਏਸ਼ੀਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਸੀ, ਹਾਮ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਅਫ਼ਰੀਕਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਤੇ ਯਾਫਿਥ (ਜਿਸਨੂੰ ਹਿੰਦੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਹੇਸ਼ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ) ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਤੁਰਕੀ, ਚੀਨ ਅਤੇ ਯੂਰਪ ਵਿੱਚਵੱਸੀ। ਸ਼ੇਮ ਤੋਂ ਅਰਫ਼ਕਾ ਸਿੰਧ ਹੋਇਆ, ਜਿਸਨੂੰ ਸਿੰਧ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

(ਅੱਗੇ ਪੂਰੀ ਵੰਸ਼ਾਵਲੀ, ਸੁਰਜ ਬੰਸੀ ਜੱਟਾਂ ਤੱਕ, ਰਾਜ ਸਾਂਗਲੀ, ਰਾਜ ਇੰਦਰੇ, ਇੰਦਰ ਅਤੇਉਸ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਲੁਧਰ/ਲਾਧਰ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੇ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਤੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਵੇਰਵਾ ਇਸ ਪਰੰਪਰਾਗਤਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਦਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਹੈ।)

ਇਹ ਲੱਧਰ ਕਬੀਲੇ ਦਾ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਹੈ।

ਇਹ ਲੱਧਰ (ਲੁਧਰ/ਲਿਧਰ) ਜੱਟ ਗੋਤ੍ਰ ਦੀ ਪਰੰਪਰਾਗਤ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਕਥਾ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਮੌਖਿਕ ਰਿਕਾਰਡਾਂ, ਵੰਸ਼ਾਵਲੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਮੁਦਾਇਕ ਯਾਦਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਸੰਭਾਲੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਲੱਧਰ ਇੱਕ ਜੱਟ ਗੋਤ੍ਰ ਹੈ। ਅੱਜ ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕ ਲਾਧਰ ਉਪਨਾਮ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਵਰਤਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਲੱਧਰ ਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਜਾਂ ਕਸਬਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਮੂਲ ਪਛਾਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਦਲਦੀ, ਜੋ ਕਿ ਜੱਟ ਸਮੁਦਾਇ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਬੰਧਿਤ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਕੋਈ ਸ਼ਡਿਊਲਡ ਕਾਸਟ ਨਹੀਂ, ਸਗੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਮੂਲ ਜੱਟ ਕਬੀਲਾ ਹੈ। ਬਹੁਤੇ ਲੋਕ ਜੋ ਸ਼ਡਿਊਲ ਕਾਸਟ [ਰਵਿਦਾਸੀਆ ਚੂੜਾ ਚਮਾਰ ਭਾਈਚਾਰਾ] ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਹਨ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਲੱਧੜ ,ਲੁਧਰ, ਗੋਤ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਆ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਹ ਲੋਕ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਸੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ. ਜਾਂ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਦੇ ਇਹ ਲੋਕ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
