Kaseenda

Kaseenda (कासीन्द्रा) or Kasindra is a village in Pindwara tahsil of Sirohi district in Rajasthan. It is recorded as Kasadraha (कासद्रह) in Jain records, is an ancient Jainatirtha located 8 miles north of Abu Road in Sirohi district of Rajasthan.

History
Kasahrada (कासह्रद) has an 11th century Jain temple of Shantinatha. It is mentioned in connection of activities of Khaatara jinapati, who flaurished in 12th century. [1]
Jain History
Kasindra - Kasindra is situated at about 4 miles from Kiwarali railway station (near Abu Road). It was an important Jain site giving birth to a distinct gachchha known as Kasindra-gachchha , a prominent branch. It is another ancient site. Its Jain Temple dedicated to Shantinath was built by Shreshti Vaman in Vikram 1091 (1034 AD). The main icon is now installed in a Devakulika. It appears that during the invasion of Sultan Muhammad Ghori parts of this temple was demolished. Its renovation was done in Vikram 1234 (1178 AD) by Pragvat Ambad. The temple consists of Garbh Griha, Gurh Mandapa, Rang Mandapa, Trika Mandapa, Devkulikas etc.
There are several old sites near Kasindra. Kirawali, one of these, has an old Parshvanath Temple bearing and inscription of Vikram 1132 (1076 AD) on the Mulanayak icon. The Temple does not have devakulikas. It was later renovated in Vikram 1180 (1123 AD), In Bharaj and Amathara there are Jain temples bearing inscriptions of the 15th century AD (Vikram Era 1500, 1502 and 1525).

विजयेन्द्र कुमार माथुर[2] ने लेख किया है ... कासद्रह (राजस्थान) (AS, p.188) आबू रोड स्टेशन से आठ मील उत्तर में है. यह प्राचीन जैनतीर्थ है जिसका उल्लेख तीर्थमाला चैत्यवंदन नामक जैन स्तोत्र में है-- 'थारापद्रपुरे च वाविहपुरे कासद्रहे चेडरे.
