Kavari (कावरी)/Kabari (काबरी)[1] is a gotra of Jats.[2]
Origin
- Kavari (कावरी)/Kawari (कावरी) - They were inhabitants on the bank of Kaveri river. They moved elsewhere and were known by this gotra after this river. [3]

Mention by Pliny
Pliny[4] mentions Arabia....We find also the islands of Pteros, Labatanis, Coboris, and Sambrachate, with a town of the same name28 on the mainland.
