Dundlod
Dundlod (डुण्डलोद) is a large village in Nawalgarh tehsil of Jhunjhunu district in Rajasthan.

It lies about seven kilometers north of Nawalgarh

History
Members of the wealthy Goenka merchant family also settled at Dundlod and their prosperity is evident in their richly fresco painted havelis here. The beautiful Chhatri of Ram Dutt Goenka and the adjacent well were both built by Ram Chandra Goenka in 1888.
इतिहास
केसरी सिंह (1728-1768): शार्दुल सिंह का तीसरी पत्नि से पुत्र केसरी सिंह था. इसे भी पैतृक संपत्ति का भाग मिला. इसने डुंडलोद में एक गढ़ विक्रम संवत 1807 में बनाया. सं. 1812 में इसने विशाला जाट की ढाणी को आवाद किया तथा इसका नाम बिसाहू रखा. सुरक्षा के लिए परकोटा भी बनाया गया तथा महल बनाए गए. इसने बूंदी और जयपुर की लड़ाईयों में भाग लिया था. इसकी मृत्यु विक्रम 1825 (1768 ई.) में हुई. As per Census-2011 statistics, Dundlod village has the total population of 10024 (of which 5088 are males while 4936 are females).[3]

- ↑ केसरी सिंह की मृत्यु सामान्यतया संवत 1825 में मानी जाती है. जयपुर के रिकार्ड में टूंगा की लड़ाई सम्बन्धी एक कागज़ में सूरजमल को मृत्यु के समय कुंवर बताया है. यह लड़ाई संवत 1844 में हुई थी.
