Childhood
Chaudhary Prem Singh was born in 1920 in Pilani, Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan. He spent his early years in Pilani, where he completed his basic education. During his childhood, he was exposed to the socio-cultural and historical environment of the region, which later influenced his interest in historical studies and documentation. He showed early inclination towards reading and writing, which gradually developed into a long-term academic interest in historical research.
