Battu (बटटू) is gotra of Jats. They were supporters of Bhati Confederacy. [1]

- Battu (बटटू) (Jat clan) → Baturi hill. Surdaha Kalan (सुरदहा कलां) is a village in Nagod tahsil in Satna district in Madhya Pradesh. There is a hill here called Baturi (बटुरी पहाड़).
