Bagren
Appearance
Bagren (बागरैन) or Vagarain (वागरैन) is a large village in tahsil Bayana, District of Bharatpur in Rajasthan. Bagrain (बागरैन) village was tahsil Karauli State, Bharatpur in Rajasthan.
Origin
- Bagariya (बागड़िया) - करौली स्टेट में बागरैन नामक स्थान से बागड़िया कहलाये. [1] [2]
- Bangarwa (बांगड़वा): This gotra is stated to have originated after a place named Bagrain in Karauli state. It is a variant of Bagadi (बागड़ी).[3] [4]
- Bhagaur (भगौर) - One ruler named Bhage (भागे) was born in the eleventh generation of Kalihana (कलिहान), who is believed to give the name Bhagor to this clan. As per Bard of Karauli state the people of Vagarain (वागरैन) were known as Bhagor.[5] [6]

It is known as the original seat of the origin of the Baagaria Jats.

According to Census-2011 information:
- With total 844 families residing, Bagren village has the population of 4730 (of which 2587 are males while 2143 are females).[8]
