Anwa (आंवा) is a large village in Deoli tahsil in Tonk district in Rajasthan.
Location
Pincode of the village is 304802. It is situated 40km away from Deoli town and 55km away from Tonk city. Anwa village has got its own gram panchayat. Bas Kheriya, Chandsinghpura and Benpa are some of the nearby villages.

Anwa is an important town situated near Todaraisingh. Several icons having inscriptions dated Vikram era 1221, 1223 and 1248 were noticed here. A big prashasti dated Vikram era 1594 found from this place contains a detailed genealogy of the Solankis of Toda. Similarly Duni and Raj Mahal are two important towns having several Jain icons.[1]
Baghera - [p.163] Baghera is an important centre of Chauhan art. Several Jain, Shiva and Vaishnava icons were salvaged from this place. It was a prolific centre of sculptures. Several Jain icons having Inscriptions of Vikram era 1195, 1196, 1201, 1203, 1209, 1221, 1245, 1215, 1250 etc have been discovered here. A good number off Jain sculptures now preserved in Ajmer museum and in the Jain temples of Tonk, Anwa, Kekadi Jahazpur etc were brought from this place. It was the centre of Digambar Jains. The Bagherwal Digambar Jains claim their descend from this place.[2]
